Picture of Avoca United Methodist Church taken
from a Post Card that Phyllis Murphy's daughter, Janice
bought on ebay! Card was dated 1909, and was sent
by a lady passing through on way to D.C. This church
burned to the ground August 30, 1996.
The "new church" in the pic at top of page was built
In 1997 and the first service was held Christmas Eve
of that year!
